Saltire Housing Design Awards Success!

We were delighted to be awarded a Housing Design Award from the Saltire Society last night at Edinburgh's Centre for Carbon Innovation, for our project The Coach House in Falkirk.

The Saltire Awards are now in their 81st year having been established in 1936. The Saltire Housing Design Awards have been rewarding and advocating innovation and excellence in Scottish house building and place-making longer than any other design awards in Scotland.

‘A home modest in size but with great ambition and an exemplar as how to build appropriately in the grounds of substantial Victorian villas. Two sliding window walls open out to the courtyard and completely convinces in its intention to blur boundaries between inside and outside. It has a sense of spaciousness that belies its compact footprint. Beautifully designed and constructed, this is an exceptional contribution to Falkirk’s built environment.’
